Research Center Type

Project Overview

The NYU Langone Bronchiectasis & NTM Program combines multidisciplinary clinical care with translational lung biology research focused on bronchiectasis, NTM disease, airway microbiome science, and precision medicine approaches to improve patient outcomes.

Project Summary

The NYU Langone Translational Lung Biology Laboratory integrates genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and microbiome research to better understand the biological mechanisms underlying bronchiectasis and NTM disease. Through collaboration between clinicians, scientists, and multidisciplinary specialists, the program supports personalized treatment strategies, clinical trials, and translational research initiatives that bridge molecular discovery with patient care.

Project Goals

Impact

NYU Langone’s multidisciplinary program continues to advance translational pulmonary research through innovative microbiome studies, biomarker development, clinical trials, and patient-centered care initiatives. The center’s work supports improved understanding of disease progression, personalized treatment approaches, and enhanced quality of life for patients living with bronchiectasis and NTM disease.

Advancing Research. Improving Lives.

Supporting precision medicine, translational lung biology, and multidisciplinary clinical care to improve outcomes for patients with bronchiectasis and NTM disease.
